Lola has been Josef’s on-again, off-again lover for the past 100 years. Josef asks for Mick’s help when he discovers that Lola has stolen $1 million from him. While searching for Lola, Mick uncovers a drug operation – synthesizing vampire blood into “Black Crystal” – which overlaps with Beth’s investigation into a model who died on the runway at a fashion event.

The episode has Beth reporting some kind of fashion event, and she doesn’t seem too pleased to be doing it. Steve, on the other hand, is thrilled.

At the fashion event, a model suddenly begins to shake violently and falls over dead.

Mick is called upon by Josef in the middle of the day (which has the same urgency of “middle of the night” for us) to find a women who stood Josef up and owes him.

Also in the episode, a vampire learns how to crystallize vampire blood into a party drug called “Black Crystal” which makes the user feel like a vampire for a short time.
