Jacob Vargas (born on August 18, 1971) is a Mexican-American actor.

Vargas was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and raised in Pacoima, Los Angeles, California.

Vargas’ break into acting came when he was cast as a street dancer on Diff’rent Strokes, and his career has continued successfully including films such as Traffic and Jarhead. He is married to Grade School Teacher Sylvia Arzate, and they have a daughter named Rose, born September 11, 2004.

Vargas was cast as recurring character Guillermo, a vampire who works in a morgue, in CBS’ Moonlight, premiering in September 2007.
