When a man named Dr. Jeff Pollock tries to help the victim of a hit and run, he is turned into a vampire.
His sire is Gerald Stovsky, the victim of the hit and run. Gerald is a scientist in his mid fifties.
In addition to the four core characters (Mick, Beth, Josef, and Coraline) Guillermo, Carl, Steve and Josh Lindsey, Beth’s boyfriend who works in politics, are all in the episode.
The episode features a new character, “The Cleaner” who cleans up the messes other vampires leave, like dead human bodies they have fed off of. The cleaner is a muscular women in her forties.
When newly sired Jeff Pollock embraces his vampiric nature in quite different ways than Mick by killing a convenience store clerk as well as someone else, it puts him on both Beth’s and Mick’s radar.
Josef and Mick discuss the chaos caused by this mysterious vampire as well as how to stop him… while Josef plays golf.

Two new characters, Ed and David, will be introduced and may become recurring characters. Both are vampires who play “blood” poker (they bet vials of blood instead of poker chips).
